Churrasco e Cinema: Celebração Brasileira:
Celebration of Brazilian Food & Film

On Aug 29th the SLC Film Center  and the Governor’s Office of Economic Development invite you to honor some of the most influential people involved in the Utah Film Industry.

*Leigh von der Esch of the Utah Office of Tourism and former head of the Utah Film Commission
*Don Schain Producer of High School Musical 1,2,& 3
*Utah film makers Jared and Jerusha Hess of Napoleon Dynamite and Nacho Libre
*Kris and Paul Liacolpoulas founders of the Salt Lake Film Society.

The timing of the celebration could not have been better as the SLC Film Center commemorates it's 6th Anniversary, the closing night our inaugural Pioneer Park Picture Show Series, a pre-celebration for Saturday's Brazilian Cultural Festival at the Gateway, a new collaboration with the Salt Lake Film Society, and continued commitment to tie film to cultural exchange and economic development with GOED.

Once again we have much to be thankful for — especially your support and friendship.
