A sneak preview of Salgado's current work GENESIS, his ongoing and purportedly seven year photographic expedition. Documenting man's broken contract with the nature Salgado takes us to places where the world is as it was when the earth began.

All events at the library are free and open to the public. We hope you have a chance to see this exhibit and learn more about Salgado, his life and his work, by attending the SALGADO at the LIBRARY series

Salgado's visit will culminate in and extraordinary event at Kingsbury Hall called AN EVENING OF CONSCIOUSNESS. Joining Salgado will be Terry Tempest Williams, reflecting on her recent trip to Rwanda and Mexican poet Humberto Eco. This event will be presented by the College of Humanities at the University of Utah. Tickets will be on sale October 15th and this event will sell-out.
